Role

Both shoots require a mixture of day and night filming. The Arri Amira was chosen due to its dynamic range and ability to produce clean images even in low light. The camera was prepped for handheld operation with Ultra Primes lenses. A wireless Terradeck feed supplied imagery to a directors monitor and smaller 1st AC monitor which I used to pull focus, with an Arri WCU 4 wireless unit.

Robbie's shoot called for a handheld aesthetic, whereas Dylan's shoot was a little more complicated due to a compressed schedule and the use of the Movi and Arri Alexa Mini. The creative team shoot all the content on the Movi, to evaluate the look it gives to the content. I stood in as a Movi tech, ensuring batteries were charged, the rig was balanced and calibrated for use.

Between shooting, I assisted the director in liaising with the agency and supporting the small crew at various locations.

In post, I was brought into to create a very simple grade for the social content and a slightly more stylised look for each of the hero ads.
